How does the scheduled service work?
Georgia Shuttle offers daily scheduled passenger service between Highlands, NC, Franklin, NC & ATL Hartsfield-Jackson Intl Airport. There are scheduled stops in Scaly Mountain, Clayton, Hollywood, Cornelia, Gainesville & Doraville (MARTA Station). There are currently 8 daily round trips.
What towns does Georgia Shuttle serve?
Georgia Shuttle makes stops in Highlands, NC, Scaly Mountain, NC, Franklin, NC, Clayton, Hollywood, Cornelia, Gainesville, Doraville (MARTA) & ATL Airport. Although our pick-up & drop-off locations are located in these towns, customers can travel from surrounding areas to utilize our scheduled service.
What options do you offer to get from Western NC & North Georgia to ATL Intl Airport?

OPTION 1: Take our scheduled service directly to/from ATL Airport. COST=$29.95 to $95 per person.
OPTION 2: Take our scheduled daily passenger service to Doraville and get on MARTA. Direct Goldline service right into the terminal. COST = From $15 to $75 (fares based on boarding location) Georgia Shuttle + $2.50 MARTA

What if I require wheelchair/ADA curbside assistance at the airport?
For Travelers Requiring Wheelchair/ADA Curbside Assistance:
Travelers requiring ADA curbside assistance are strongly encouraged to contact TSA Cares Assistance directly. This service provides additional support for individuals who need mobility assistance when traveling through the airport.

It is highly recommended to contact TSA Cares at least 72 hours prior to your trip to ensure they can provide the best possible support.
What are some tips for using MARTA to/from ATL airport?
TO ATL: We find that it works best to book a shuttle that arrives in Doraville approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours prior to the departure time of your flight. This allows 2+ hours to get through the TSA security lines.
FROM ATL: It is best to remain in the airport until 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your scheduled Georgia Shuttle departure time from Doraville. For example, if you are booked on the 3:30pm GS shuttle from Doraville, board the MARTA approximately at 2:15pm at the airport MARTA station. This is because the airport offers more amenities (restaurants, bathrooms, etc) than the Doraville MARTA station.
NOTE: MARTA trains run approximately every 10-15 minutes.
Do you serve ATL Intl Airport directly?
Georgia Shuttle offers scheduled service directly to ATL airport!!! We can also provide a custom charter which will take you from your pick-up location of choice directly to ATL airport.
Can I park my car at your pick-up & drop-off locations?
Our Highlands, NC, Scaly Mountain, NC, Franklin, NC, Clayton, Hollywood & Cornelia locations are pick-up & drop-off locations...no parking is available. Our Gainesville stop offers a Rideshare Lot (used at customers discretion). The Doraville MARTA offers paid parking for our customers in a parking garage & outdoor lot.
Do you offer residential pickups?
Our scheduled service only stops at Georgia Shuttle designated pick-up & drop-off locations. Please visit our Private Charter section to book a custom private charter.
Do I need a reservation to ride on the scheduled service?
Yes, a confirmed reservation is required. For best shuttle time availability, we recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead of departure time. To book a seat, please visit www.georgiashuttle.com/book-now.
How much does it cost?
A one way fare ranges from $15 to $95 (fares based on boarding location) plus sales tax. This fare applies to all adults & children age 2 & older. Children under 2 years of age ride free when accompanied by an adult. You must call us at 706-493-7372 if traveling with a child under 2 years. How early should I arrive at my pick-up location?
Georgia Shuttle recommends that you be in place at least 10 minutes before departure time. Please show driver a printed or digital version of your ticket to board.
What if I need to change my reservation? Cancellation policy?
If you need to make a change after purchasing a ticket online, call us at 706-493-7372 and a representative can re-book you at no extra charge. This must be done PRIOR to your original scheduled departure time. Effective 9/5/25, ALL scheduled service tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE after original time of purchase.
To cancel your scheduled ticket prior to scheduled time, either click on link in your booking email confirmation, or call us at 706-493-7372. If you wish to cancel a round trip ticket, you MUST cancel both reservations separately. You will receive a full future travel credit that does not expire. To use this credit, you must book by calling 706-493-7372 to make reservation.
What if I "NO SHOW"?
Customers that do not meet the shuttle driver at the scheduled pickup time, as indicated by the reservation, will be considered a "No Show", effectively canceling the reservation. No credits will be issued to "No Show" customers.
Georgia Shuttle operates a scheduled transportation service (unless Private Shuttle service is purchased). Drivers will depart the pickup/dropoff location at scheduled time, after which the customer will be considered a "No Show".
